Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Tara Osterhout
My name is Tara Osterhout and I started out at Marietta High School in Marietta, Oklahoma. After graduation, I attended East Central University. I earned my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education in December of 1996. Just before graduation I married my husband, Jamie Osterhout, and moved to Drumright.
My first position was in the fall of 1996, I was employed by Oilton Public School as a teacher's assistant. I left after the semester and started my teaching career at Glencoe Public School, where I taught 3rd grade and Title I Math for 8 years. During the next few years, Jamie and I had two beautiful girls 22 months apart, bought a restaurant, and moved twice.
When I had the opportunity to teach in the Drumright School District I jumped at the chance. I taught 4th grade for 7 years. During this time I decided to continue my education at SWOSU. After graduation, I was hired to be the Assistant Principal at Drumright. I taught 4th grade part-time and worked in the office part-time. This kept me very busy and I loved each and every minute of it.
This is my 9th year as the Principal at Bradley. I am both honored and overjoyed to be working with the fabulous staff and students at Bradley. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t learn something from students and or staff. I feel that I am the luckiest person in the world. I enjoy waking up in the morning and knowing that I will get to have a positive impact on so many great young minds.
