Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Marilyn King

I started my teaching career in 1987 in Marland, Oklahoma.  In 1989, Marland consolidated with Red Rock and became Frontier High School.  I taught at the consolidated district until the Spring of 1991.  After my son was born, I taught part time at Northern Oklahoma College.   In 1997, we moved to Point Comfort, Texas, where I became the Geometry teacher at Palacios High School.   I taught at the Palacios High School until 2017.  I retired from teaching in Texas and moved back to Oklahoma.  My husband, Duane and I are currently residing in Drumright, Oklahoma and plan on retiring in this community.  I enjoy teaching Math, especially Geometry,  because there are so many real life applications.  I am currently teaching Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II.
