We are thrilled to share that Drumright Public Schools had a wonderful first full week of the 2025–2026 school year with 460 Tornado students enrolled across our district!
At Bradley Elementary, students had an exciting week filled with learning and special visits. A huge thank you to the Drumright Police Department for taking the time to visit classrooms and talk with students about safety, respect, and preventing bullying. Their partnership helps us build a safe and supportive learning environment for every child.
At Cooper Middle School and Drumright High School, students are settling into their schedules, meeting their new teachers, and adjusting well to the updated cell phone policy. We are proud of how quickly our students are adapting and focusing on making the most of their classroom learning.
This past week also marked the kickoff of our extracurricular programs! From athletics to clubs and organizations, there are so many opportunities for Tornado students to get involved, grow their talents, and be part of something they love. We encourage every student to find their place and participate in the activities that make their school experience even more rewarding.
In addition, all school sites successfully began their mandatory safety and security drills. We appreciate the patience, cooperation, and teamwork from our students and staff in making these drills smooth and effective. Safety remains one of our top priorities.
We could not be more proud of the way our students, staff, and families have come together to start the year strong. With teamwork, positivity, and Tornado pride, the 2025–2026 school year is off to a fantastic start...and it’s only the beginning!
Thank you, Drumright community, for your continued support. Let’s make this a year to remember!
