Happy Teacher Appreciation Week May 4–7
Teacher Appreciation Week serves as an important reminder of the role educators play in our schools and our community. Teaching is more than a profession. It requires commitment, skill, and the ability to support students both academically and personally each day.
At Drumright Public Schools, our teachers do more than deliver instruction. They encourage, mentor, and help students navigate challenges while building confidence and curiosity that extends beyond the classroom. Their work has a lasting impact on our students and the future of our community.
We appreciate the City of Drumright and our City Council members for their support and for recognizing this week during their meeting last month. Their proclamation is a meaningful reminder of how much our community values education and the educators who make a difference every day.
We encourage our students, families, staff, and community members to take time this week to show appreciation. A simple thank you, note, or message can go a long way in recognizing the work of our teachers.

Both of these incredible Tornado team members were nominated and voted on by their colleagues, which makes this honor even more special. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to our students and school community set the standard for excellence at Drumright Public Schools.
