Back To School 2024-2025 Information We are so excited for the arrival of our students for the 2024-2025 school year! Listed below are some important dates and information for all Drumright Public School families to note as the beginning of the school year is rapidly approaching. Online Registration: Drumright Public School will be enrolling all students for the 2024-2025 school year using the online registration and also on July 30-31 from 9:00-12:00, 4:00-7:00 in the HS Library, to complete the remainder of the enrollment forms. All students must complete both the online enrollment process and the paperwork. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Lori McEntire at 918-352-2152 or Charlotte Dorle at 918-352-9519. Rank One: All students participating in extracurricular activities must complete the Rank One process before August 1st. If your child has not had a physical, please contact the HS office to get the OSSAA Physical Form. (No other form is allowed.) If you did this in April or May, you do not need to do this again. Please follow the process of completing the 3 required forms for your child to be able to participate in extracurricular activities for the 2024-2025 school year. Mandatory Drug Screening: August 1st from 4:00-6:00 at the HS Library will be the 1st mandatory drug test screening for all extracurricular participants. This includes all athletics, band, cheer, FFA, Student Council, Esports and any other extra-curricular activities. Back To School Bash: Saturday, August 3rd from 10:00-3:00 @ Whitlock Park (Sponsored by Drumright Housing Authority) Meet the Teacher Night: Tuesday, August 13th from 5:30-6:30 First Day of School: Wednesday, August 14th School Hours: 8:30-3:30 Building Hours: 8:10-3:45 Drop Off and Pick-Up Times: 8:10-3:30 Bus Schedules: Schedules will be posted on the district website. School Breakfast/Lunch: All Tornado students will eat free school breakfast and lunch for the 2024-2025 school year. Please make sure to complete the lunch form at registration on July 30-31. OSSAA ANNOUNCES DEAD PERIOD FOR EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES Angela Avila June 26, 2024 The dead period will begin Saturday, June 29th through Sunday, July 7th. Students who are enrolled or pre-enrolled at a member school may not use any member school's facilities, fields, etc during the dead period in connection with any athletic activity governed by the OSSAA. Member school coaches, assistant coaches, and sponsors may not have any contact with enrolled or pre-enrolled students in that member school in any athletic activity governed by the OSSAA for the purpose of coaching, training or instructing. Campus is closed to students. Skills camp for JH and HS players in the evening from 5:00-7:00. Mon - Wed (7/8-7/10). Normal summer workouts resume 7/15. Happy Fourth of July!!!

One of our NHS students has decided to host a community service project to clean up the Pen Oaks apartment area. This will accrue 3 hours of community service and is open to any students including all NHS members! It is a great way to get hours for your NHS application if you are an exiting freshman. You will just need to email Mrs. Baugh (bbaugh@drumright.k12.ok.us) to log your hours. The date is set for tomorrow, Thursday May 30 @ 10 AM. Meet Iyan McCormick at the main office of 1400 Aspen Dr. and wear your old work clothes. Help clean up part of our community!
