April 5, 2024
Dear Parents,
We are excited to announce that our school will be hosting special activities in celebration of the upcoming total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024! This event provides a unique opportunity for our students to engage with science in a hands-on and memorable way.
Here are some details about the activities planned for the total solar eclipse day:
Educational Activities: We will be organizing activities led by our science teachers to educate students about solar eclipses, their significance, and safety measures to observe them.
Live Viewing: Weather permitting, we will set up safe viewing stations equipped with solar viewing glasses for students to observe the eclipse in real-time. This is scheduled to take place between 1:40-1:55.
Safety Measures: Rest assured that safety is our top priority. We will provide proper guidance and safety equipment to ensure that students can enjoy the eclipse safely.
We encourage you to talk to your child about the total solar eclipse and its significance. It's a fantastic opportunity for them to witness a natural phenomenon and learn more about the wonders of our universe.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We look forward to a day filled with excitement and learning!
