2nd grader Hallee Baugh earned a Show-and-Tell coupon in Mrs. Jones class, and she brought the coolest thing! Her dad, Brad Baugh (DHS Alum) builds scale model pumping/oilfield units and sells them all over the world. He taught the kids all about how oil wells operate, and all the materials he uses to hand make the models! They really enjoyed getting to see a well up close, with so many of them recognizing the wells from around town! Such an awesome learning experience.

Parental Engagement: The program often includes workshops and resources for parents to better support their children's educational journey and understand the college application process. Career Exploration: Students gain access to career exploration activities and guidance, helping them to understand various career paths and the educational requirements for their chosen fields. Long-term Impact: By fostering early college and career readiness, the grant helps increase the likelihood of high school graduation and successful college enrollment, ultimately supporting long-term academic and career success.
