We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences, where you will have the opportunity to meet with your child's teacher and discuss their progress, strengths, and areas for growth. This is a great time to engage in meaningful conversations about how we can continue supporting your child's learning journey. Conference Dates & Times: Tuesday, March 11 from 3:45 PM to 6:30 PM Thursday, March 13 from 3:45 PM to 6:30 PM Whether you’re able to attend on Tuesday or Thursday, we encourage you to schedule a time that works best for you. Our teachers are eager to share insights about your child’s development and to partner with you to ensure their continued success. Bradley Elementary teachers have sent out a signup sheet for parents to schedule a conference. Cooper Middle School and Drumright High School teachers will be available for drop ins. If you are unable to attend on either of these dates, please reach out to the teacher to arrange an alternative time. All juniors will take the ACT on March 25 after spring break. This is a graduation requirement. They will also need fully charged Chromebooks starting March 10 because we will be doing the non-test portion of the ACT. Please make sure your junior has theirs charged and here at school. Thank you!

Dear Tornado Families, State testing season is quickly approaching, and we want to ensure every student has the best opportunity to succeed! State assessments are an important part of measuring student progress and helping us improve instruction to meet the needs of all learners. Our students, parents, and teachers have worked extremely hard throughout the year to ensure our students are prepared for these assessments. Attendance is critical during the testing window to set our students up for success. Please make every effort to have your child present, well-rested, and ready to do their best on these important days. See the attachment for specific grade-level and assessment requirements. I have just emailed 2 scholarship applications for seniors that are due March 1st. The OROS scholarship application must be done by computer...typed. We are the northeast quadrant for that scholarship. The East Central Electric Coop scholarship requires you to live in their service area. Read eligibility guidelines.

Due to below-freezing temperatures during our morning bus routes, the potential for hazardous road conditions, and the inability to clear our sidewalks and parking lots, Drumright Public Schools will be closed on Friday, February 21, to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and families. This will be a regular snow day. Monday, February 24, we cannot wait to see our Tornadoes back at school.
